Donnette after a successful business career moved to Cornwall and rediscovered the joys of painting and experimenting with colour and texture. She is a self taught artist who whilst exploring and walking the Lands End felt compelled to capture this wild wonderful place with its contrasts between smooth architectural lines and the power of the elements. On the Penwith Moors in particular there seems to be a ongoing battle between order and chaos. She is at the moment working on a body of work featuring New Zealand landscapes.
