Fishermans Cottage, Newlyn - Wonderful views of Mounts Bay

Sleeps 2 adults (travel cot for a babe in arms can also be supplied).  One of the oldest properties in Newlyn. The yard of the property was historically used as a pilchard drying yard and now offers a romantic linhay (earlist form of conservatory) to the rear plus cobbled area/garden (shared with adjacent cottage).  Spectacular views over the working harbour, Mounts Bay and St. Michaels Mount. Decorated individually retaining many of its original features – curved wooden staircase, beams etc.

Net Loft, Mousehole    Sleeps 2 adults (travel cot for a babe in arms can also be supplied)       Character Cottage with a fishing and artistic background – the Net Loft is part of a much larger building which was used by the fishermen in the 1800’s. The whole building was then converted to Artists Studio in early 1900’s and approx. 1999 converted into attractive cottage apartments, which retain their character and provide the perfect holiday home for visitors to Mousehole. The Net Loft is located in pretty cobbled lane and local artists still live and work in the area.

Mousehole's Christmas lights are spectacular and the village is lit up from mid December through the Christmas period to early January. Visitors come from far afield to see the boats decorated as fish, sea monsters etc all around the harbour and a celtic cross lighting up the islands in the bay.
